Some of our favorite summer meals are the simplest ones. When the days are full, the garden needs tending, and it’s just too hot to spend much time in the kitchen, these Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps are one of the recipes I come back to again and again.

They’re fresh, hearty, and easy to prepare ahead, making them perfect for busy weekdays, afternoons spent outside, or those evenings when everyone is hungry and dinner needs to come together quickly. It’s the kind of meal that feels nourishing without weighing you down and lets you enjoy the fresh, slower pace of summer.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

One of my favorite ways to care for my family during the summer is by keeping meals simple without sacrificing flavor. These wraps are packed with crisp romaine, tender chicken, homemade Caesar dressing, crunchy croutons, and plenty of Parmesan, creating a meal that’s satisfying enough for lunch or dinner.

The best part is that everything can be prepared ahead of time. Simply keep the dressing separate and assemble the wraps when you’re ready to eat. It makes busy days feel just a little easier while still putting something wholesome and homemade on the table.

Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, garlic, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Add the chopped romaine, chicken, croutons, and Parmesan cheese to a large bowl.

Step 5: If preparing ahead, cover the salad and refrigerate, keeping the dressing separate until you’re ready to eat.

Step 6: Just before serving, toss the salad with the desired amount of dressing.

Step 7: Spoon the salad into flour tortillas, fold in the sides, roll tightly, and serve immediately.

Tips & Tricks

Drying the romaine well helps the dressing coat every bite instead of watering it down.

Lightly crushing the croutons gives you a little crunch in every bite while making the wraps easier to roll.

Freshly grated Parmesan creates the best flavor and blends beautifully into the dressing.

Warm the tortillas for a few seconds before rolling if they’re stiff to help prevent cracking.

Variations

Use grilled chicken thighs instead of chicken breast for a richer flavor.

Add sliced tomatoes or avocado when they’re in season.

Skip the tortillas and enjoy everything as a classic Chicken Caesar Salad.

Serve alongside fresh fruit, pasta salad, or kettle chips for an easy summer meal.

Storage & Leftovers

Store the chopped salad ingredients and dressing separately in the refrigerator.

The dressing will keep well for up to 5 days in an airtight container.

For the freshest wraps, assemble them just before serving so the lettuce stays crisp and the croutons keep their crunch.

Summer meals don’t have to be complicated to bring everyone together around the table. Sometimes the recipes we come back to most are the ones that are simple, fresh, and practical enough to fit into the rhythm of everyday life. These Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps are exactly that—a meal that helps make busy days a little easier while still feeling homemade and full of fresh flavor.
