Homemade pizza night always feels a little special, but sometimes there just is not time to wait around for dough to rise. This no rise pizza dough is one of those practical recipes that comes together quickly while still giving you that homemade flavor and chewy crust.

It has become one of our favorite options for busy nights, movie nights, or last-minute pizza cravings when planning ahead did not happen.

Ingredients Needed

  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Yeast
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Equipment Needed

Instructions

Step 1: In a large bowl combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to sit briefly while preparing remaining ingredients.

Step 2: Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Step 3: Knead until smooth, adding additional flour if needed until the dough is workable.

Step 4: Divide dough if making multiple pizzas and roll to desired thickness.

Step 5: Transfer to a preheated pizza stone or parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 6: Use a fork to poke holes across the crust to prevent puffing.

Step 7: Pre-bake at 475–500°F (or as hot as your oven allows) for 4–5 minutes.

Step 8: Remove from oven, cool and freeze or add toppings, then return to bake until cheese is melted and crust is golden.

Tips & Tricks

Use the hottest oven setting possible for the best crust.

Preheating the pizza stone helps create a crisp bottom.

Do not skip poking holes in the dough or large air bubbles can form.

Storage & Leftovers

Wrap unused dough tightly and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
